Our office serves infants, children, adolescents and children with special health care needs. Dr. Fontes, as a Pediatric Dentist has received additional training in caring for the unique needs of children. At Chantilly Pediatric Dentistry all aspects of your child’s health will be considered, including growth and development, pediatric medicine, management of anxiety, trauma management, preventive and restorative treatments for primary and permanent teeth, and oral sedation.
Pediatric dentists have additional 2 to 3 years of training in caring for your child’s oral health.
It is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association that a child should have their first dental visit by age one.
After a thorough diagnosis we will offer the best treatment options based on evidence-based dentistry.
Each of our patients are treated according to their own specific needs in a nurturing environment.
Nitrous Oxide and Conscious oral sedation can help reduce a child’s anxiety and help them better cope with dental treatment.
